Job Overview
As the Assistant / Deputy Manager – Quality Assurance (QA), you will be responsible for overseeing dairy quality control systems, ensure strict compliance with FSSAI regulations, implement quality management frameworks, and manage plant-level quality testing processes.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Control & Testing: Oversee routine chemical, microbiological, and sensory testing of raw milk, in-process dairy products, and finished goods.
Compliance & Standards: Ensure plant adherence to FSSAI, ISO, HACCP, and GMP standards.
Supplier & Raw Material Quality: Audit milk procurement channels, ingredient suppliers, and packaging materials.
Process Improvement: Identify root causes for non-conformities, implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and minimize wastage.
Audits & Documentation: Maintain detailed QA records, prepare standard operating procedures (SOPs), and lead internal/external regulatory audits.
Team Leadership: Train plant operators, technicians, and floor staff on dairy hygiene and quality standards.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
Education: B.Tech / B.Sc / M.Sc in Dairy Technology, Food Technology, Food Science, or Chemistry.
Experience: Minimum 4+ years of core QA/QC experience specifically within the Dairy Industry.
Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of milk processing, dairy microbiology, FSSAI regulations, and lab equipment calibration.
Location: Must be willing to work onsite at Khopoli, Maharashtra.
