Diverse Violations Addressed: FBOs across various food categories, including milk and milk products, spices, packaged drinking water, nutraceuticals, sauces, pickles, chips, and jaggery, have faced scrutiny to ensure compliance with product standards and safety.
Continuous Monitoring: FSSAI, in collaboration with State/UTs Food Authorities, maintains vigilant oversight over food product quality and safety, conducting rigorous sampling and testing. Non-compliant practices are met with fines and legal action under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006.
Consumer Protection: FSSAI’s unwavering commitment is to safeguard consumers nationwide by upholding strict food safety standards and conducting thorough inspections, monitoring, and enforcement campaigns.
