Job Purpose/Overview
Ensure the development and implementation of technical activities at RMB, being fully accountable by maintenance budget (MCC) and capital investments (CAB), including site project portfolio and maintenance planning, execution and control. Lead equipment design, deployment of innovations, new technologies and system, as well as corporate initiatives connected to site masterplan. Site maintenance also includes facilities management, as well as factory IT and industrial automation. Responsible for development and engagement of associates from engineering and maintenance areas.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage company technical area and its associates involved in maintenance, control and automation, engineering projects, facilities, and Factory IT
- Manage capital investment projects (Factory CAB), as well as non-capitalizable improvements, during whole project cycle time
- Maintenance planning and control (MPC) during asset cycle time, for all site assets
- Promote continuous improvement culture and use of analytical tools through deployment of reliability and maintenance engineering
- Lead SiG program and responsible for sustainability KPIs and initiatives;
- Provide technical support for all departments, meeting engineering study requests and maintenance service orders, as well as offering technical data, process and procedures;
- Manage communication within technical areas
- Promote corporate governance and compliance to Mars internal policies and legal requirements
- Manage budget for maintenance, facilities and engineering departments
- Ensure Packing Center assets availability, being responsible for reliability KPIs and acting with other areas on process and equipment improvements
- Manage technical contracts, contractors and consultants
- Responsible for spare parts stockroom, ensuring proper and timely purchase and controls, aiming right balance between stock optimization and factory availability
- Design, planning and execution of strategical projects such as factory expansions and new lines, including technical and economic feasibility assessments, in collaboration with regional and global teams
- Support professional and personal development of direct and indirect reports through robust PDP process
- Lead team recruitment and hiring process as well as dismissal when applied
- Manage electricity contracts
- Promote and implement good management practices for projects and maintenance
- Manage calibration contracts and non routinary activities in the Packing Center
- Ensure compliance to HSE standards and integrated management system
- Ensure compliance to ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO22000, ISO45001, MARS standards and related procures
- Ensure compliance to international and local technical standards (NBRs), as well as corporate engineering standards
- Support implementation of HACCP program, as well as compliance to GMP and GHP requirements
- Report incidents related to pest control and contribute to related program
- Participate and adhere to all requirements of food safety, quality management system and site safety program
- Demonstrate active commitment to quality culture, reflecting it in speech and actions Where all applicable PPEs to your risk exposure (GHE)
- Report safety incidents and identified unsafe conditions
- Report situations involving bullying, harassment, excessive work load, workplace concern, etc
- Follow all safety rules, internal policies and plan of response to emergencies
Context and Scope
Main mission of this role is leading maintenance, facilities and engineering teams for capability development, implementation of best standardized methods for projects management and
maintenance execution, while contributing with site continuous improvement and change management program.
Job Specifications/Qualifications

1. Education & Professional Qualification
- Engineering bachelor degree, preferably with graduated studies in project management or maintenance management
- Fluent written and oral English communication
2. Knowledge/Experience
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience with engineer teams and/or maintenance crew
- Experience with capital projects management, preferably with proven practice of PMI methodology
- Experience with food safety standards, as well as construction safety and engineering standards
- Advance knowledge of office package (Excel Word, Power point, MS project)
