Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Scientist for our R&D Grains team based in Gurugram, India. In this role, you will be responsible for driving advancements in our Ready-to-Eat Cereal (RTEC) portfolio for India and the MENA region. Your key responsibilities will include ensuring technical readiness, launching innovations on time, leading productivity initiatives, and collaborating with both local and global teams. Responsibilities:
- Drive AOP/Non-AOP Innovations in RTEC for India + MENA regions, ensuring technical readiness and on-time launches.
- Lead Productivity initiatives in RTEC and support India BU in delivering identified savings and BCP opportunities.
- Independently lead Technical Brand Stewardship (Quality & WwP) for RTEC.
- Work with GP (Global Procurement) to identify new ingredients and qualify alternate vendors for existing ingredients.
- Lead the Technical Stage Gate process for RTEC projects to ensure speed to market.
- Collaborate with Global counterparts on Global projects within the Cold Cereal platform.
Qualifications:
Key Skills/Experience Required:
- Develop functional skills in technology for executing vertical start-ups across BU plants.
- Drive the development and scale-up of critical ingredients, collaborating with Global R&D for compositional assessments in innovative breakthroughs.
- Possess a fundamental level understanding of the market and competitive segment in terms of portfolio and future trends in RTEC Health areas.
- Demonstrate advanced-level knowledge of consumer preferences, including sensory attributes, related to Cold Cereal and Healthier Snacking.
