Your Roles & Responsibilities:
Financial / Strategy:
- Prepare recommendations on Quality budgets.
- Monitor and track expenses to ensure adherence to budget.
- Verify bill payments for all expenses within corporate limits.
- Ensure no unbudgeted costs are incurred.
Quality Standards:
- Monitor, adhere to, and circulate the Monthly Quality Report.
- Prepare and approve Project Quality plans for Civil, Finishing, Landscaping, and External development works.
- Expertly train the workforce as per requirements for all civil and finishing works.
- Define and modify quality standards from a customer perspective.
- Communicate quality standards to project teams.
- Inspect and approve materials according to standards.
- Maintain clarity around inter-process handshakes to avoid lapses.
- Have working knowledge gathered through exposure to different phases of construction.
Operational:
- Conduct site audits related to process compliance and final quality, along with technical specialists.
- Prepare audit/nonconformance reports and communicate audit insights to the site team.
- Follow up on action plans with the project and design team.
- Identify areas of improvement in process and product specifications.
- Facilitate root cause analysis with project and design teams.
- Provide input in quality management control.
Process:
- Adhere to company-defined guidelines and processes.
- Comply with project timelines.
- Identify processes/procedures in your work area that need improvement.
- Recommend process improvement ideas to streamline efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
- Undertake process improvement activities in your work area.
People Management and Development:
- Conduct goal setting exercises for the role and define work objectives for team members.
- Conduct weekly quality review meetings and regular performance reviews with the entire team.
- Provide guidance and direction to team members.
- Conduct periodic reviews and year-end appraisals for team members.
- Recommend and implement policies to ensure retention of high-potential/performing employees.
- Act as the first point of contact for communication, interpretation, and implementation of management decisions to direct reporting subordinates.
- Communicate and implement GPL values/processes/systems within your own team.
