As we continue to expand and enhance our offerings, we are seeking a Coordinator for Food & Beverages to join our team.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
1. Product Development:
- Lead the new launches of food and beverages, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery.
- Conduct research and development for new product offerings, aligning with market trends and customer preferences.
- Provide training and development for new and existing staff, enabling them to excel in the café environment.
- Coordinate arrangements for raw materials and supplies necessary for the successful execution of new product launches.
- Maintain and uphold the standards and quality of products available in the existing menu.
2. F&B Training:
- Ensure that food preparation adheres to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and quality guidelines.
- Monitor the timely preparation and serving of meals to customers, maintaining efficiency.
- Oversee the attractive display of food items at appropriate temperatures, adhering to procedures.
- Train and monitor F&B auditors, plan their visits for café inventory audits, and ensure compliance with MRD and SOP guidelines.
3. Raw Material & Menu Planning:
- Align training sessions for the ground team and evaluate their performance with the training department.
- Monitor F&B stock levels within the stores and ensure proper inventory management.
- Authorize the disposal of expired articles and the liquidation of near-expiry products.
- Focus on enhancing customer satisfaction through quality food and service.
4. Cost Management:
- Collaborate with the store team to ensure adherence to SOP guidelines.
- Seek energy-efficient equipment options to control costs and conserve energy.
- Identify new vendors to enhance cost-effectiveness and maintain consistent communication with suppliers.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- A degree in Hotel Management or a related field.
- Proven 7-8 years experience in food and beverage management, preferably within a retail or hospitality environment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in SOP adherence and training.
- Strategic thinking for product development and cost-saving initiatives.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
