Job Description: As an Associate Manager – Supplier Quality & 3P at Perfetti Van Melle, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products by effectively managing our supplier relationships and third-party manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for driving supplier performance, compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining control over product safety at 3rd party manufacturing locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effective Supplier Management: Implement and oversee supplier management approval programs, ensuring that suppliers meet our quality and safety standards.
- Supplier Handholding and Development: Collaborate with suppliers to improve their quality processes and drive continuous improvement.
- Supplier Performance Review: Conduct regular assessments and reviews of supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement and taking appropriate actions.
- Product Safety Control: Ensure rigorous control of product safety processes at third-party manufacturing locations, maintaining adherence to quality standards.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Food Science, or a related science field.
- Significant experience in Supplier Management and Supplier Audits.
- Knowledge of the Indian Regulatory System and Compliances.
- 8+ years of progressive food safety experience, with at least 2 years in handling supplier quality/3rd party quality.
Desirable:
- ISO 9001 and FSSC auditor certification.
- Knowledge of Auditing and an understanding of ISO 9001 and FSSC is mandatory.
