POSITION SUMMARY

As an Assistant Manager of Food & Beverage at Le Méridien Gurgaon Delhi NCR, your role is vital in ensuring an exceptional guest experience. You will be responsible for various aspects of the dining experience, including staff grooming and attire, guest interactions, safety, and overall guest satisfaction. Your duties will also include overseeing dining room operations, managing inventory, and ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and maintain the grooming and attire of staff, addressing any deficiencies promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, fellow employees, and other departments to meet guest needs.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment among staff members.
  • Monitor dining rooms to ensure seating availability, service quality, and guest safety and well-being.
  • Coordinate maintenance repairs by submitting work orders as needed.
  • Conduct scheduled inventories of supplies, food, and liquor.
  • Manage stock levels and request necessary supplies.
  • Handle assigned cash bank, ensuring accuracy of contracted funds, obtaining required change, and maintaining bank security at all times.
  • Announce “last call” at designated closing times.

Qualifications:

  • Assist in the recruitment, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching of employees.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Adhere to company policies and safety and security procedures.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
  • Complete safety training and certifications.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance and uphold the confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Extend a warm welcome and show appreciation to all guests, providing exceptional service.
  • Communicate with clarity and professionalism and answer telephones with proper etiquette.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
  • Perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Demonstrate fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination when handling objects of various sizes and weights.
  • Navigate narrow, confined, or elevated spaces and stairs or service ramps.
  • Perform tasks that require reaching overhead, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Fulfill other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
